An-drr-eh not An-dree
Nice to meet you!
I’m Andrée (she), the extra “e” in André is silent and makes the name feminine in French. Rolling lightly the “r” is a tongue twister and optional.
I am a product designer based in Ottawa/Gatineau area. Fluent in both French and English, I have a Bachelor of Arts from University of Montréal and a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Carleton University in Ottawa.
My motto is the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but seeing with new eyes. (Proust)
I sometimes joke that I have an altruistic creativity. I am inherently driven to learn, observe and compelled to simplify with thoughtful designs. At last, I am a person that adapts and drives multiple concurrent projects.
As Edward de Bono wrote, “Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way.“
When I am not designing new or redesigning existing digital products, I am running neighbouring trails with my dogs wherever we call home.
Before teleworking twenty two years for IBM around the globe, I did highly formative years in start ups.
